postpartum series
January 7 – march 4
(NO session february 18)
This 8-week Class Series is open to any parent with a lap baby (newborn - 8 months old).
Class is limited to 8 parents & babies each Series.
We love partners, but this event is for the birthing person & babies only.
Join us for this series centered around connection, community, education, and mindfulness. Parenting is meant to be communal and we aim to reconnect during such a tender time that all too often feels like isolation. Our Postpartum Series honors the expansion of us, extends support and guidance to the new mother with a focus on returning to their own center while integrating this personal transformation after birth.
Geared towards lap babies (birth to 8 months)* gather with other moms to learn, feel supported and deepen the bond with your babies. We will address the immense changes undergone in pregnancy and birth with nourishing, practical tools from a team of incredible community practitioners united by their own mothering experiences and passionately called to this work to help ease this transition. Together we shift the paradigm- we ARE the village. May you feel seen and heard through this mothering journey. We hope you will join us in this life changing work to root into our individual power and the collective power of community.
Facilitated by Dr. Alana Flitt, Brianna Nilsen, Jessica Glose and Megan Callahan you will hear from each facilitator twice throughout the series.
Classes are held every Tuesday morning, 10am-11:30pm at Cary House, 460 Franklin St., Buffalo, NY, 14202.
